Our extensive investment programme in Bradford is scheduled to run over several years, building on the work previously undertaken by our former partnering contractor.
Works included
The project at Dick Lane Estate, Bradford, involves a programme of external improvement works to a mixture of houses and flats. The works include raking out and repointing, window and door replacements, general external repairs, canopy replacement and external decorations.
The improvements are being carried out to help properties retain heat, improve energy efficiency and reduce residents’ energy costs, while also significantly enhancing the overall appearance and condition of the estate.
A key challenge is carefully coordinating the works in the correct sequence to minimise disruption to residents and ensure each stage is completed efficiently. The programme is expected to run for approximately 10 months, with kitchen and bathroom improvements planned to follow.

Under the current 20-year partnering contract, Axis CLC works closely with Clarion’s Planned Investment teams to deliver a wide range of planned maintenance and improvement programmes to homes, blocks of flats, and LiveSmart schemes across the North, Midlands, Central and Borehamwood areas.
The partnership is focused on maintaining, modernising and enhancing residents’ homes through planned investment programmes, energy efficiency upgrades, and selected mechanical and electrical (M&E) improvement works. These activities support Clarion’s long-term asset investment strategy and it’s commitment to providing safe, sustainable and high-quality homes for residents.

James Jordan is a Contracts Manager at Axis with 21 years’ experience in social housing, including 10 years in contract management. He is committed to delivering high-quality works and ensuring residents, clients and his team can be proud of the results.
Paul Marden
Resident Liaison Officer
Paul is the dedicated Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) for the planned works programme being delivered by Axis CLC in partnership with Clarion Housing Group across the Bradford estate. He is residents’ main point of contact before and throughout the works, helping to arrange appointments, provide regular updates and support any individual needs.
